RCC Challenge — Don’t Be Such a Tease!

The Don't Be Such a Tease challenge is all about being the biggest tease possible. We are all reading books that aren't published yet, and what is more fun than showing other readers how awesome your current read is! The challenge is to share a few sentences from the RCC book you are reading right now, so we can all get a little taste.

The Teaser:

Your mother hollers that you're going to miss the bus. She can see it coming down the street. You don't stop and hug her and tell her you lover her. You don't thank her for being a good, kind, patient mother. Of course not — you hurdle down the stairs and make a run for the corner.

Only, if it's the last time you'll ever see your mother, you sort of stat to wish you'd stopped and did those things. Maybe even missed the bus.

But the bus was barreling down our street, so I ran.

I'm loving this book though I'm only about 4 percent in. I think it'st a great start. The teaser is from the first page of the book.
