Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created here at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!
Top Ten Books About Friendship:
What's your Top 10 this Tuesday?
His Majesty's Dragon is a wonderful choice for this topic, I'm kicking myself for not having it on my own list. Likewise The Enchanted Forest chronicles. Can't beat friendship with dragons.
ReplyDeleteDragons make the best of friends :)
DeleteYou're the second blog I've seen Firefly Lane on. I'm going to have to go check it out. I totally agree about the Harry Potter series. There are such strong friendships in the series.
ReplyDeleteShelly @ Raindrops and Pages' Top Ten Tuesday
You rally have to get to Firefly Lane Shelly, I read it a few days ago in one sitting.
DeleteI think the friendships in Harry Potter are so important! :-) Great choices!
ReplyDeleteNo list of mine for this topic would be complete without Harry Potter on it :)
DeleteHarry Potter is going to be popular for this list and I totally agree with it! You're the second person I've seen with His Majesty's Dragon, I definitely need to read that one. I totally agree with Lord of the Rings as well!
ReplyDeleteYou really do Michelle! I had it on my tbr list for about 5 years before I read it and I loved it.
DeleteSisterhood YES! Doesn't get much better than that.
ReplyDeleteLoved those books as a tween :)
DeleteI think I'm going to be seeing lots of Harry Potter today - including on my list. :)
ReplyDeleteTTT @ Krista's Dust Jacket
Harry should be on everyone's list lol
DeleteYay somebody else has Firefly Lane on their list!!! I thought I was the only one :) I loved that book. HP also made my list (of course).
ReplyDeleteMy TTT
I loved it too Michelle (Fly Away is next on my TBR list)
DeleteI've got to give Kristin Hannah a try. It seems like I've been seeing her everywhere lately. So agree about Harry Potter and LOTR. I'm going to have to give The Traveling Pants series a try. I read her scifi book and liked the writing though didn't care for the story. Great list!
ReplyDeleteFirefly Lane was the first time I read her (and that was just the other day) I put off reading her books for years since I'm not a women's fiction/chick lit reader (though I love romance) and it totally surprised me. I haven't read Ann's sci-fi stuff but I definitely recommend The Sisterhood :)
DeleteIt seems that I also need to try Kristin Hannah. Not usually my kind of books, but I have seen them recommended so many times that I just need to try for myself.
ReplyDeleteThey aren't my usual type of read either Caitie but I tried Firefly Lane for the first time a few days ago and loved it.
DeleteHP, Temeraire, and LOTR all made my list too! And I considered Prydain and The Enchanted Forest chronicles. I guess great minds really do think alike! ;-)
ReplyDeleteHow could not have HP, Temeraire and LOTR? :D
DeleteHarry Potter and LOTR are good choices. I can testify to your addiction with these. Which is cute
ReplyDeleteHarry Potter is in my list too! Who could forget the Golden Trio, right? I love your list, btw :))
