Top Ten Tuesday #55
Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created here at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!

Don't you love when you have to buy the books and then you don't read them! That happens to me all the time! LOL I bought a 50 cent copy of Eye of the World and then am way too intimidated to start it.

Out of the books you've listed, I've read The Bronze Horseman. I really enjoyed it. I hope you do too, when you get around to reading it!
ReplyDeleteI thought about doing this one, but then I realized that I couldn't just narrow it down to ten books, and then I felt so guilty that I have that many unread books that I NEEDED that very moment, and I still haven't read them. I will say however, that The Red Tent is very good. I hope you enjoy it when you get to it. :)

Ah yes, books that simply HAD to come with me but are collecting dust on my kindle or bookshelf. It's a lot more than 10 for sure.
ReplyDeleteThis was the topic I selected this week too! I have far more than 10, too!
ReplyDeleteCheck out my TTT and my birthday giveaway!
Oh you MUST read BRONZE HORSEMAN. It's lovely. I spent a winter reading the trilogy and it holds a special place in my heart.

Snap on the topic! I always feel so guilty about this but it happens ALL THE TIME. Just can't curb the habit! Hope you get round to these books soon :)
ReplyDeleteMy TTT :)
I really wanted to choose this topic for my TTT but I just had WAY TO MANY books. I was gonna take a picture but I really did not feel like messing with my unorganized, unstable bookcase, so early in the morning! LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteUgh I have so many books sitting on my bookshelf I need to read haha. But you have some great choices to start with! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteYou must read Memoirs of Cleopatra by Margaret George. It is possibly my favourite historical fiction book ever. It is amazing. She is an amazing author and they're all so enthralling. The Land of Painted Caves was an okay ending to the series but I would have changed quite a bit. Amazing list love all of the historical fiction titles, a genre I must read more of!

The Eye of the World is sitting on my bookshelf too!
ReplyDeleteUgh I do this too...I have Clan of the Cave Bear and the second book but I've yet to read them. I also have Outlander for the same reason. I have read The Eye of the World though, but the second book is collecting dust too. Too many books not nearly enough time!
