I love Robyn Carr and Diana Gabaldon's books. I haven't read anything by Jaci Burton but am aware she has books out there!
ReplyDeleteShe's good Kathryn, I've read two of her books. The Perfect Play which is steamy and part of her Play by Play series and the one mentioned above which is a little on the sweeter side with some heated moments, both are good and I'd recommend them.
DeleteI love the variety of books people share in this link-up!
ReplyDeleteDeb
Me too Deb!
DeleteI hope Gabaldon enthralls you as much it did me. I was very annoyed when the book ended!
ReplyDeleteI always find her books enthralling. I'm reading it in spurts and it's killing me to not read it in marathons, but alas I have to many library books out that need my attention lol.
DeleteI loved If I Stay and I'm a huge fan of the Outlander series. Drums of Autumn wasn't my fave but book 5 & 6 are right back up there! That Jaci Burton book is screaming read me, a dog on the cover gets me every time lol.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week & happy reading :)
Ohh TeddyRee I am so with you on Outlander being amazing! I recommend the Jaci Burton book it was a cute read :) Unfortunately though If I Stay was just an okay read for me, but I'm going to read the sequel when my hold at the library comes in.
DeleteThanks for stopping by.
you've got some great looking books on your list. Briar Rose by the cover and name alone I wanna know about. I love Robyn Carr, shes one of my favorites. I've een dying to play The Last of Us ever since it first came out, on the video game side of things, I may have to check what you read out:)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog!:)
Woot! A Robyn Carr fan :) And the graphic novel for The Last of Us was great though I still have to play the game and the cover is exactly why I picked up Briar Rose lol :)
DeleteAll of your books are new to me. I like the looks of Leviathan. I need to check that out. :)
ReplyDeleteIt was a good read, I love a good action adventure/thriller/conspiracy theory read :)
DeleteOne of my older Daughters is reading "If I Stay", Here is my Monday and I keep seeing her nose in it, wondering if I should be reading it. LOL
ReplyDeleteIt's not a bad read, I liked it but wouldn't say it's fantastic but I love when my mom reads books after me so we can talk about it so I say go for it :D
DeleteYou've read (are reading) a nice variety of books. Read my first Robin Carr book this summer and enjoyed it. Huge fan of the Outlander series. I am currently listening to Written in My Own Heart's Blood.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you liked Robyn Carr 'Nise, her books just get better and better. I love them. I'm hoping to read Written in My Own Heart's Blood in the new year.
DeleteLeviathan and the Rat Queens both look good, and I'm curious about Dragon Age. I've never played it but heard good things about it. Nice variety of books!
ReplyDeleteBoth were good reads Greg, Rat Queens in particular was awesome! It's definitely a series I want to read more of. As for Dragon Age I haven't played it but the artwork in the graphic novel looks absolutely amazing.
DeleteEnjoy your new books, and I am looking forward to my first Robyn Carr read. Thanks for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy the first book in the series Laurel!
DeleteDragon Age looks really cool. I love fantasy. Enjoy your Monday!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ellen! I'm pretty darn stoked to start Dragon Age this week.
DeleteOo I love Diana Gabaldon!
ReplyDeleteBriar Rose and Wild Man Creek both look really good. I will have to check them out!
Woot, I love meeting other Diana Gabaldon fans!
DeleteMan, Serena is crazy! And set in my part of the world. The movie release seems to get put further and further back. I think Jennifer Lawrence will be amazing as Serena when we finally do get to see it though. Enjoy your week!
ReplyDeleteOh my god! I know what you mean Serena is such an intense read and her character is just...so well intense lol. I saw the trailer for Serena and think Jennifer Lawrence will do a good job, and it'll be interesting to see her and Bradley Cooper in a more serious period flick.
DeleteWe should play dragon age sometime. Its really good.
ReplyDeleteI want to. Dragons are awesome.
DeleteRat Queens and Serena... Can we be book friends???
