When I Started reading this book I was hooked by Sora's character and the mystery behind her necklace. You see when I first got invited for the blog tour for this book I was really excited because I also had a chance to read and review the first one. Unfortunately with all the stuff going on in my life lately I couldn't fit the first book in before I had time to read and review this one so I was a little lost on some things.

However, I was really surprised that the novel was pretty self explanatory and I was able to piece together a lot of what happened in the first book by reading this one. Like I said before I really enjoyed Sora's character. She was really strong and I enjoyed that about her.

In the last little while I haven't read very many YA fantasy novels mostly because none of the ones out there have really grabbed me the same way this one did. There was a strong sense of adventure, mystery and suspense and enough romance to keep me happy.

Another thing that I really liked about the book was the relationship between Sora and Crash. I think that authors have been listening to reviewers voice there dislike for the dreaded insta-love plague that is infecting the literary world as of late because there was NO insta-love in this book. Crash and Sora are so damn perfect for each other I couldn't get enough of them. Crash is the strong silent type so he and Sora were the perfect balance. I loved it!

I'm glad though that their relationship wasn't the whole focus of the novel because for me that wouldn't have worked out so well. This was an exciting novel with a high fly adventures. I enjoyed it tremendously and I can't wait to read book one! I highly recommend this one to fans of YA Fantasy novels!
