  1. Ooh, nice list there! I have only read DoSB and do think that would look good onscreen. I would love to see the River of Time Series on-screen.

    1. I do too but I hope if they do to it they keep it dark and don't make it campy.

  3. I am torn with guilty pleasures...while I think it would have great potential casting would be a pain and its such a HUGE series. It would be fun though. :)

  5. I'm reading Daughter of Smoke and Bones right now and I really want a movie of it. I'm loving it and would really like to see it on the big screen. Moon Called would be neat to see too. I'd love to see the Anita books on screen but I think that would get trickier as the series went on.

    1. Oh my goodness DOSB was awesome. I kinda wish I could erase my memory just so I could re-read it and be surprised by it all over again.

  6. Daughter of Smoke and Bone would be amazing on the big screen. Well at least in the perfect world, where they pick out the casts for Akiva & Karou perfectly.... Right? Who do you have in mind that would make a great Akiva & Karou for the movie? :D

    1. Ya know I have no clue who I would want to play Akiva and Karou I only care if they actually look like they're described in the book :)

  7. Interesting list! The only one I've read is Sarum, and I can't remember if I finished it (not because it wasn't good, but because it had to go back to the library.) It would work better as a TV series, I think, because of how it moves forward through the centuries. Too hard to get attached to the characters if it were done as a single movie; they wouldn't be around long enough.

As for the other books, I need to check some of those out!

    1. I would love to see Sarum as a series. I haven't finished it yet but I've read about a third of it and think it's absolutely amazing. He's such a talented writer :)

  8. Daughter of Smoke and Bone could definitely be awesome as a movie, it would have to have fantastic funding to pull of all the types of characters!

  9. I would be super nervous to see Daughter of Smoke and Bone on screen. Not sure if anyone would be able to capture Taylor's beautiful prose, but if it could be done, I'd watch in a heartbeat :D
