I have never read Martin, but the mention of a piebald horse caught my eye. :D
ReplyDeleteIf you love epic fantasy but want something that's got a historical fiction flair I highly recommend them. I'm hoping to have the series done by the end of the year.
DeleteOK I always have to comment when I see Martin's books pop up. :) Brienne's story was interesting in this one, I was curious to see what would happen after her and Jaime came to an understanding in the last book. Hope you're liking it...

DeleteI haven't read Martin either! I have book one I think but I've been a wuss as of late with those chunkster books. They're so huge!
ReplyDeleteI watched seasons 1 and 2 before I read the book (although I owned it before season 2 came out and it was recommended to me when I was 16). I really recommend it. Lots of violence and swearing and nudity lol (for both the show and the books)
DeleteI am reading this book now (listening to it actually). I am so excited that it is shorter than Storm of Swords.
