  1. Pretty park - although I see they do same thing with bins in the US as they do in Australia - put them so close to the bench seat that your lovely view is also shared with the whiff of the bin!

    1. Yeah, here in Canada they're close to the benches but I've been there so often I can say that the city of Toronto keeps those bins super clean I never get a whiff of anything :) There's also a little jungle gym for tots there so that's probably why.

  3. We don't have a lot of small parks like that in our part of Virginia. We tend to have bigger parks that are more spread apart. I remember having areas like this when I lived in Australia. Its nice to have little areas like this. I'm guessing they put the rubbish bins so close to the benches since some people are too lazy to walk more than a few steps to throw away their trash.

    1. That's the great thing about my area (it used to be separate from Toronto) and now it's part of the city so there are a lot of little parks in our area, and a bunch of mega ones as well.

  4. What a nice spot :) My neighborhood backs up to one of our state parks and they have so many little spots like that to sit and people watch. So fun :)

    1. That's so awesome! This park is behind the train tracks that are behind our house and it's so nice to pop in there for some fresh air.

  6. What a beautiful spot! Our neighborhod is relatively new, so the trees aren't big enough to enjoy like that (yet....)
