What protagonist is most like you?
I like to think that I'm most like Anita Blake from Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake Vampire Hunter Series.... Cool with the violence, a mean temper and a wacky sense of humour. I'm not petite like her at all (5'10) but our attitudes on a lot of things are very similar. She's one of my favourite characters, strong, smart and braver than people would give her credit for.

Cool with violence? lol. She sounds like she's a badass. I remember the Paranormalcy MC being just like the way you describe Anita.

ReplyDeleteWait, she's 5'10 or you are? Lol! Being a mere smidge over 5'0 myself I'm always baffled when people in the 5'5 range call themselves short. Lol! Never did read her series but I do know of her! Great pick!

DeleteI love Anita Blake!!! She's a great choice. I prefer her older books she changed a lot after 9 so I'm not sure how I feel about her. I don't meet many who have read her books which is shocking since it's such a great series. Are you current? I'm a few behind sadly.

I like the idea of being a vampire hunter, sounds like a strong female character.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of these books, but I like how you describe the character! I always say I'm a mix of Hermione and Luna from the Harry Potter series. I love to read and learn new things, I tend to like school, I have crazy brown hair/brown eyes and I used to have buck teeth, I'm kooky and quite weird, and it's hard for me to make friends. haha So a mix of those two!
