The Sunday Post #37

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead
Hi Guys!

This was an exciting week for me, aside from going to Toronto | The Word On The Street I hit 250,000 page views on the blog AND cracked the top 10,000 Amazon reviewers by coming in at #9,638. It was a bit of a slower week compared to last week but I've gotten a lot of reading done and I connected with a couple of fantastic new bloggers via Twitter and I have something new and exciting in the works that I can't quite share with you yet but I will within the next month or so. Speaking of next month, where did September go? Where did the summer go? Hell where did 2013 go? It feels like this week is whipping by and I have no idea what to expect anymore since life has thrown me so many curveballs lately.

Anyways, I hope you all have a great week full of bookish things!

-Kimberly

    1. Ya know I've only bought about a dozen kindle books since I got the Kindle a couple years ago. I usually just get freebies but these were on my wishlist and were cheap :) I've been wanting to read partials since it came out, but my library didn't have it in the system so when I saw it on the sale table I had to snatch it up.
      Thanks for coming by!

  3. Congrats on the top 10,000! I'm hovering around the 12,500 mark. How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf is very funny and Immortal Surrender was really enjoyable. I hope you like them too.

  4. That is one awesome haul! One of these days I'll get to a book convention. I've been to Star Trek conventions (way back when), but at least one book convention is on my Bucket List. :)

  7. Look at those books! What a great variety. I will have to check out Doula. As a Doula myself, I am curious it the book is about a woman birth coach. Interesting.

    1. Belle, the author is a Doula too which is why I picked it up. I was curious to see how someone who is practicing the field their writing about puts it into a story. I hope you like it!

    1. I don't get a lot of swag (being Canadian makes people think shipping is too expensive when it actually can cost less to ship here than it is to ship in the USA) so I was stoked to finally get some. Thanks for dropping by Grace :)
