The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead
Hi everyone!
It was an interesting week this week. We got some seedlings planted but got hit with torrential rains here so it remains to be seen if the seeds drowned or not. I'm going to do a little more planting today if it is nice out and I plan on hitting up the library with the Mister and maybe this week or next I can start my tea garden. Who knows. I've learned to just go with the flow and plan as little as possible since things change in an instant around here.
I hope you all have a great first week of Summer!

ReplyDeleteThanks Christy!
DeleteNice review of Natural History of dragons, I've heard lots of good things about that one too. And Bird Box sounds trippy...
ReplyDeleteThanks Greg, It was really great, definitely one of the more unique books I've come across. I can't wait to get to The Bird Box, so my review should be up in a couple weeks.
Deletethe fortune hunter looks like something i'll enjoy. i'll have to look it up to see what it's about. awesome haul :)
ReplyDelete-michelle @ Michelle & Leslie's Book Picks
Thanks Michelle :D
DeleteIf the weather is hot enough, I bet the seeds will finally pull through ;) Bird box looks scary but interesting. Have a great week !
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping. We had tornados not far from us so the rain was horrible but I really wish they'd start growing soon :)
DeleteI really hope that your sees will grow. We had the same problem here due to floods but many seeds grew even after it. So my fingers are crossed. I'm sure you'll enjoy this summer. Also you've got a really great haul and I hope you'll enjoy Divergent. Great post :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Tanja, I hope I like Divergent too. This is the 6th time I've borrowed it and I'm determined to read it this time.
DeleteThanks Sharon, I've got my fingers crossed
ReplyDeleteA tea garden sounds amazing! Good luck! And how sweet of Mr. Turning The Pages to get you a book! =) Thanks for sharing Kim! Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday Post
Yeah, he's awesome for supporting my book habit :)
DeleteI love the cover for The Fortune Hunter. And yay for Divergent! :)
ReplyDeleteHave a good Sunday and good luck with the gardening!
Thanks Milka! I love the cover for The Fortune Hunter as well.
DeleteSounds like you have green fingers ;) I can try as much as like but they just don't want to grow for me -_-
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday ;)
They're green to a point lol, I'm just hoping to have a better container garden than I did last year.
DeleteThe Daisy Goodwin looks very interesting! I've read a Sheila Roberts and enjoyed it though there were a few aspects I didn't love so I luck forward to seeing your review. Looks like you got some great books and I'll keep my fingers crossed about the seeds! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Katherine, I've never read Roberts before but I'm hoping to catch up on the series before my tour stop for this one :)
DeleteA smallish haul for you last week. I hope the seedlings survive and good luck with the tea garden.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I wasn't in much of a book grabbing mood last week, I might treat myself to some freebies this week though :)
DeleteA tea garden - how lovely! We'll want pictures! :-) Enjoy your new books! I look forward to your review of The Fortune Hunter, which sounds very interesting.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lark! I'm really excited about the tea garden idea :D
DeleteI hope your wee seeds survived the rain! I'll keep that Elizabeth I novel in mind - she is my favorite monarch. =)
ReplyDeleteMine too Diana :) I should be reading it next month so be on the look out for my review, and good news the seeds sprouted!!
