Interesting list :-) I haven't heard of some of these books, but they definitely look like they're worth looking up! I hope that you enjoy them.
ReplyDeleteThanks Chrissi, I'm all about mixing up the summer reads.
DeleteHave a great summer reading!!
ReplyDeleteAlicia @ Summer Next Top Story
Thanks Alicia!
DeleteI've been meaning to read The Ashford Affair for so long now! Will have to try and finally track it down.
ReplyDeleteMe too :) I've got high hopes for that one.
DeleteI used to love Laurell K. Hamilton, but then her books got to be more sex/less plot. This is one of the early ones in Meredith's series, correct? I do remember loving that one! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteMy TTT summer reading list
I love Laurell K. I've heard that about the later books in the series but I doubt that'll bother me and yeah that's the first in the Gentry series :)
DeleteGreat list! I really want to read Ember Island and The Ashford Affair. I've really enjoyed the Raybourn's I've read lately so I'll definitely have to look for A Spear of Summer Grass and Lighthouse Bay might have the summer-yest cover I've seen yet!
ReplyDeleteI love Kimberley Freeman's novels, If you want a great read Katherine I recommend her novel Wildflower Hill. That book made me ugly cry and was a fantastic summer read.
DeleteI planned my summer reading today, and I've got Lighthouse Bay and A Spear of Summer Grass on my list as well. After seeing it on your list, I'm thinking I need to add Ember Island too!
ReplyDeleteWoot! I'm going to have to keep an eye out for your reviews on those :) Have you read Kimberly Freeman before? I read Wildflower Hill by her 2 summers ago and thought it was fantastic. If you have any room left I'd add it to your list (I reviewed it on here too you just have to search for it in the search bar on the right) if you're interested.
DeleteOh, yes! I absolutely loved Wildflower Hill. It's one of my favorite books ever. I don't know why it's taken me so long to read her newer ones! She has one called Evergreen Falls coming out that sounds fantastic.
DeleteGah! I can't wait for Evergreen Falls, so glad to have found another fan of hers. I don't know many people who've heard of her and I'm not sure why I haven't read her new ones before now either but I'm thinking it's because Wildflower Hill was such an emotional rollercoaster. I don't think I've cried that much over a book in years.
DeleteQuite a range of picks. Looks like you're a truly eclectic reader. I get too hung up on all my YA reads to branch out often.
