Why I'm Reading It:
I love a good non-fiction read from time to time and I have a love simple living and I like that this traces not only the history of shepherding in general but his own history as well.

DeleteI read very little non-fiction, so admire you reading The Shepherds's Life.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't a non-fiction reader before 8 years ago or so then I picked up Nelson Mandela's autobiography and it spoke to me. I mostly read non-fiction about animals though.

ReplyDeleteA little non-fiction is good :) I read much more of it now than I used to. I think...it's all about reading about people/topics that interest you. For me it's civil rights leaders and animals.
DeleteThe Shepherd's Life sounds lovely! I'm a big James Herriot fan and I love rural England, so I think it's right up my alley. I've added it to my want-to-read list.

ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous that you can listen to audio, I so often tune the narrators out. I enjoyed reading Miller for the first time after you (among others) have reviewed her so positively over the last few years and catching up with Mercy and the pack was just what I needed.
