Tomorrow is Spartan's gotcha day when we adopted him at the humane society and now he has a new sister Fury, also a rescue to celebrate it with!

We adopted Spartan one year ago today from the Toronto Humane Society!

I cannot begin to tell you how much he has helped my family. 

We are incredibly thankful to the Toronto Humane Society and Northern Reach Dog Rescue (the charity I have at the bottom of the comment section) for bringing him to us.

My street on Tuesday afternoon around 2 p.m.

We got about 6 inches that afternoon but by 5 p.m. it warmed up to 5°C and it started to pour and it poured all night creating a lot of problems for drivers here in Toronto. What's the weather like in your neck of the woods?

Say hello to Alfie! He's my 1 year old rescue hamster and he's my biggest cuddle bug. He loves just being held and listening to me jabber on about things....like me telling him how cute he is and how I'm going to eat him up and smothering him with kisses. 

I know.

It's gotten rather chilly here (there were flurries Friday night) so I'm alright with having a lazy weekend reading and drinking copious amounts of tea and coffee.
