I remember reading it two summers ago I remember how engrossed I became in the story I thought

that Loretta and Hunter were perfect together and it reminded me of all the western historical romance

novels I read as a teen when I read a lot more HRs.

Why I Chose It:

 

I read this one back in 2011 and thought it was pretty good, it was my first read by the author and while I thought it was a little too light, and the characters needed a wee bit more substance I thought it was a fun read over all and I liked that it was a minor re-telling of Beauty and the Beast.

Why I Picked This Book:

 

I remember reading this one when I was about 15 in 2005 or so during my summer vacation and I remember thinking that the heroine was one of the few at the time I was reading HRs that had a backbone and I loved that about her. I remember reading it in a single sitting with a flashlight in bed and loving it to pieces, now I'm thinking I might have to go back and re-read it.

All of it is seasoned with Deveraux's trademark humor and passion, a recipe that never fails to satisfy.

I loved this one when I read it a few years ago. I thought that the
heroine Temperance was really funny, refreshing and the book was
a nice change for me because the book is set in 1909 rather than the 1800s.

Why I Featured This Book:

 

I remember reading this one when I was 16 and throwing it at the wall it made me so angry. The men in the story were infuriating but Rhonwyn was great. She had a temper and was stubborn and I liked that a lot about her and I enjoyed that the author was able to make me feel so strongly for the book.

Why I Featured This Book:

 

Back when I was 11-13 I started getting into the Historical Romance genre and I remember stealing my mom's copy of this off the shelf when I was 12 years ago and I devoured it in one night. 12 years later and this one is still a favourite of mine and I highly recommend it.
