The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
I hope everyone had a great week last week. We certainly did here. First it was my sister's birthday then it was Mr. Turning the Pages' birthday so there was lots of celebrating! Plus it looks like winter is slowly relinquishing it's hold on Toronto and I'm hoping to get out into the garden in the next couple weeks. As you can tell it was a really busy week on the blog with lots of reviews going up! I'm finally back into my reviewing groove and I hope to have just as many reviews go up next week so stay tuned and have an awesome week!
And just a reminded you can now follow my blog via BlogLovin'! So please take the time to sign up, it's a great service that allows you to keep track of the blogs you follow.

You ladies are awesome!
From the Library:
I have a read-a-thon that I'm participating in next Saturday so I needed some shorter reads that have been on my tbr pile forever and that also qualify for my reading challenge I'm hosting this year so I did kinda need these...and I'll admit some of them aren't for the soul purpose of the read-a-thon.
Kindle Freebies:
Holy hell, you hit the freebie motherlode! Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteTanya @ Rantings of a Reading Addict
I'm addicted! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteYou got a lotta books to read. What percent of books that you download for free, do you read?
ReplyDeletedru's book musing: Sunday Post
Not many but I am reading them more than I used to.
Delete*huge gasp* That's a lot of freebies! Wow!
ReplyDeleteLove the library book haul, too -- especially Eagle of the Ninth, Mary Poppins, and The Wizard of Oz. Have fun with your read-a-thon!
I'm also amazed and impressed by how many reviews you are able to write in a week. Well done!
Gotta love the classics! I was so surprised at how many reviews I pumped out this week usually I would only write 2-4 a week I'm hoping I can keep up with writing them again! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI loooove the kindle freebies. Like I really need more, but I can't help it, I have to go and check some of these out. Enjoy all your books.
ReplyDeleteJenea @ Books Live Forever's Sunday Post
Yay! Another freebie Addict. The way I see it is that if I'm grabbing up all the freebies then I'm less likely to buy books which is easier on the wallet. Plus I've found some amazing authors this way :)
DeleteWow amazing Book Haul. Thanks for sharing had Kiss Of Fire on my Wish list did not know it was free, just grabbed my copy. Already got my free copy of Summer Heat. Old Follower.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading
My Book Haul
Glad you were able to grab a copy of Kiss of Fire! It had been on my wishlist as well I was stoked to see it as a freebie this past week.
DeleteAwesome! Looks like a little something for every taste. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteBook of Secrets: Sunday Post
Yep, and a lot of the freebies I get for the hubby as well so variety is key :)
DeleteWow you had a crazy busy week. I also picked up a ton of kindle freebies.
ReplyDeleteHeather ~ My Sunday Post
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoy your freebies too!
DeleteWow, that is a lot of freebies! I grabbed a few of the same ones earlier this week, but I'm going to see if I might have missed some (so easy to loose track when you have to so many, lol).
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear you had a great week this week and I really hope you enjoy all of the books you picked up! Which readathon are you participating in?
Thanks! I'm participating in a group read-a-thon in Goodreads!
DeleteHoly haul! You nabbed those all in the last week? I thought I was bad. lol
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!
Toni @ My Book Addiction
I have an addiction! Luckily Mr. Turning the Pages is cool with it though I suspect that's because they're free lol :)
DeleteHow do you find all those freebies? I struggle looking over Amazon and sites for freebies. :) Hope you have a great week.
ReplyDeleteI have a Sunday Post up as well...

Lots of looking around lol! Thanks for stopping by Melissa :)
DeleteO_O SO. MANY. BOOKS. I'll have to check them out. Read-a-thons.. I don't know how you all manage to participate in them. Most of the times, if I'm not in the mood, I can't read for the love of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. So, kudos! :D
ReplyDeletePatricia // My Week
I'm the same way! This time my read-a-thon required that we post our lists ahead of time and we can't change them so I'm screwed. I'm such a big mood reader unless I want to read it I won't so we'll see how I do on Saturday!
DeleteI really like your blog.. very nice colors & theme. Did you create this website
ReplyDeleteyourself or did you hire someone to do it for you?
Plz reply as I'm looking to construct my own blog and would like to know where u got this from. cheers
