Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created here at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!
Top 10 Favourite Books I Read BEFORE I Became A Blogger:
Oh yes - Outlander!!! I vividly remember reading that on the subway … having no idea what I was in for, and then reaching their first sex scene. I may or may not have melted into a puddle of goo at the time >shew<.
ReplyDeleteGood to know that someone else was sucked into the crahck-tastic nature of the BDB :-)
Crahck-tastic! I love that word :D Glad someone else loved Outlander I remember reading that scene sitting on the couch with my mother...talk about awkward!
DeleteYES YES YES for Harry Potter! :D

*Gasp* Forgot Outlander?! For Shame! :)
DeleteOh, the Harry Potter, Prydain, and Virgin River series all came close to making my list -- especially the first two! And I loved the Enchanted Forest Chronicles, too. Ten is just not enough for a favorites list, is it? I've never read most of the others, but I've heard about several of them. One of these days I'll have to read Outlander...
ReplyDeleteYou have to give Outlander a try. It's an amazing read and highly addictive!
DeleteI put Harry Potter, The Enchanted Forest Chronicles, and the Chronicles of Prydain on mine as well!! Love those books!

I hope you get to read some of them sometime!
DeleteYou have quite an eclectic reading type from what I can see of your reads before you was a blogger.
ReplyDeleteI don't think anyone's list is complete without Harry Potter this week. I particularly like the cover art of the books in your image.
Yeah, my read is all over the place I love all genres even now that I do blog I'm all over the place :)
DeleteI have Outlander sitting on my bookshelf, waiting to be read. People seem to really adore that series!
ReplyDeleteI think one of the reasons I started blogging was to keep track of all the books! I have a hard time remembering all of the books I read pre-blogging and I'm sure I'm forgetting some good ones.
Ah, yes Laurell K. Hamilton! Those were some of my favorites before blogging too, but I forgot about them! And of course I added Harry Potter to my list.

I read the first book in the Enchanted Forest Chronicles so long ago, back when I was like ten or something. I remember thinking it was very cute.
ReplyDeleteYes, yes, Yes to these series. I still need to read Ward and *whispers in a very low voice* I still need to read the final book in the Earth's Children series. I love this series and own the book but it keeps getting shuffled around. I remember when these came out I would grab them up on release day
