Waiting on Wednesday #22

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine and is where we can talk about books we are looking forward to being released!

Here are my picks for the week:

Archangel's Storm (Guild Hunter, #5)

Summary:

With wings of midnight and an affinity for shadows, Jason courts darkness. But now, with the Archangel Neha’s consort lying murdered in the jewel-studded palace that was his prison and her rage threatening cataclysmic devastation, Jason steps into the light, knowing he must unearth the murderer before it is too late.

Earning Neha’s trust comes at a price—Jason must tie himself to her bloodline through the Princess Mahiya, a woman with secrets so dangerous, she trusts no one. Least of all an enemy spymaster.

With only their relentless hunt for a violent, intelligent killer to unite them, Jason and Mahiya embark on a quest that leads to a centuries-old nightmare… and to the dark storm of an unexpected passion that threatens to drench them both in blood.

Length: 336 pages
Expected Publication Date: September 4th 2012 by Berkley Sensation

Why I'm Waiting:

I'm totally in love with this series and even though I just finished the second book in this series last week and this is the 5th book I can't wait to read it. The news of it's impending publication incites the idea of me begging Mr. Turning The Pages into buying the 2 other books preceeding it before it gets released.

Unravel Me (Shatter Me, #2)

Summary:

tick
tick

tick
tick
tick
it's almost
time for war.

Juliette has escaped to Omega Point. It is a place for people like her—people with gifts—and it is also the headquarters of the rebel resistance.

She's finally free from The Reestablishment, free from their plan to use her as a weapon, and free to love Adam. But Juliette will never be free from her lethal touch.

Or from Warner, who wants Juliette more than she ever thought possible.

In this exhilarating sequel to Shatter Me, Juliette has to make life-changing decisions between what she wants and what she thinks is right. Decisions that might involve choosing between her heart—and Adam's life.

Why I'm Waiting:

First off the cover is AMAZING! I think it's exceptionally gorgeous and I can't help but look at it.
Second, I loved Shatter Me! I read it in just a couple hours and I can't wait to see what happens to Juliette, Adam, Warner and the rest of the characters.
