The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
Howdy Folks!
Can you believe June is almost here? Where had the year gone? I also can't believe that I turn 23 on Friday and that a week later my baby nephew turns 15! I don't have much planned for the coming week except reading, cleaning gardening and blogging. Plus I'll be trying out a ton of new recipes this week for my long forgotten food blog I started back in March and haven't updated since then. Never fear though next week I have a couple of reviews planned and a blog tour stop or two scheduled and maybe a trip to the used bookstore is going to happen as well.
Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the last week of May!
And just a reminder you can now follow my blog via BlogLovin'! So please take the time to sign up, it's a great service that allows you to keep track of the blogs you follow.

Next Week on Turning the Pages:
To be decided!
Book Haul:
One of my favourite used bookstores was having a 10 for $10 sale on their paperbacks so Mr. Turning the Pages was nice enough to treat me today and all the books are pretty much brand spanking new!

Lots of great books! Enjoy them! I can't believe May is almost over either. I'm really hoping to get more reading time in this summer. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThanks Yvonne! It seems that the warmer months always go by the fastest.
DeleteHappy early Birthday! I hope it's a good one! And I know what you mean...my cousin is graduating high school and it seems like just yesterday she was in diapers. Have a great week and enjoy your books! My STS
ReplyDeleteThanks Harley! Next summer is going to be the worst. My nephew will be 16 and my niece will be 17 and graduating high school. So not ready for it since I remember the days they were born!
DeleteNice sale, and I like Anderson, ok Seal of Honor looks yum!! and I enjoy bliss books they are such a nice, light, fun, escape. Enjoy and happy cooking! Happy Birthday..23 I was prego with my first at 23, she is now 22. @!&*$ Oh No! I could be your dang mommy..OMG I am old *deskface*
ReplyDeleteI've got you beat by about 5 years, Kimba, so relax! ;-)
DeleteI love Catherine Anderson and Seal of Honor is sinfully delicious looking isn't it? Don't feel old! My sister is technically old enough to be my mama (She's almost 40) I remember going out and about with her as a kid and calling her Mom just to see how embarrassed my teenage big sister would get when people would stare (the fact that we don't look related at all helped with the effect)
DeleteThanks for the birthday wishes!
Nothing like a great sale and I always find so many of the books are in next-to-new condition. Double win!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday and happy reading :)
