The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead
Can you believe we're going into the second week of April already? We had some pretty good spring like weather here this week (I got to wear my flats again!) but then we got some of those April showers (lets hope they do bring May flowers). It was pretty good week here, it was Mr. Turning the Pages birthday, my sisters birthday and Mr. Turning the Pages' parents anniversary so lots of celebrating going on.
Today I'm pretty stoked because Game of Thrones and River Monsters both premier tonight and I've got the feeling that even though I've read the entire Song of Ice & Fire (GoT) series that I'm going to be running around the house later screaming about feels.
Because I'm mature like that.
I hope you all have a FANTASTIC week!

Happy birthday and anniversary! I'm going to be running around the house screaming about how I can't watch the new season because I'm still on season two. *Cries* I'm happy to see Spring as well, now if the pollen count will lower some so I can enjoy it. I hope you have a lovely week!
ReplyDeleteThanks Michelle! I hope you get caught up with the show soon because season 3 is just pure awesome :)
DeleteGame of thrones is a great show. I can't wait to watch it too. :)
ReplyDeleteToo bad you missed watching it with me to see Wrestle Mania.
DeleteThe Shadow Queen looks good :) Wow lots of birthdays and anniversary celebrations I hope Mr. T had a good one :) Enjoy your week Kim :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Kimberly! I can't wait to get to the Shadow Queen :)
DeleteLots of celebrations! Happy birthday and anniversary to everyone.
ReplyDeleteLook at those book, oh my goodness. How will you get them read? I see some I want, time to go prowl Amazon. :D
Thanks Bea! I'm pretty sure I'll never read them all but you know I have to get them just in case lol.
DeleteHope you enjoy Game of Thrones. :) I think this season is going to be pretty wild... Your Hawkeye book looks good, I've heard good things about that series but haven't read it myself.
ReplyDeleteWe just finished watching Season 3 on DVD this past week and we don't get HBO so we'll be watching social media to see the non-reader reaction to the new season. Both the hubby and I have read through book 3.
DeleteThe Shadow Queen looks interesting. I'll have to check it out. Have a good week!
This season is going to be awesome, and Hawkeye was an okay read, not what I expected but okay.
DeleteAh, well, at least I'm not the only one who had rain, lol. Veiled Eyes look pretty good; hope you have a great week! :)

DeleteI really hope you've enjoyed all those celebrations. It seems like a lot of fun to me. Also our blogoversary was last week :D *high fives* You've got some amazing books this week. I really hope you'll enjoy them :)
ReplyDeleteTanja @ Here is our Sunday Post
Congrats on the Blogoversary Tanja!
DeleteAm I the only one who isn't obsessed with Game of Thrones yet? It looks really good but I am always wary of getting into a huge fandom because I tend to be overly obsessed and so emotionally invested, does it even make sense? lol.
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday Post
I'm usually that way too Farzy, but this one is well worth it. I say give the show a go and then read the books. They're different but equally good.
DeleteReaper's Property - I have it, need to make time to read it. Awesome pile of freebies you got. Enjoy all these reads.
ReplyDeleteMich
I've got to find time to read it too, I just checked my calendar and the later half of this month I have a few review stops so here's hoping that I get to it in time.
DeleteWhat a fantastic book haul again! I like the look of Habibi, love the cover with the semi-arabic writing .Have a great week and Happy Reading.
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday Post is here
Wow...what a busy week both on the blog and off! And what a great selection of new reads.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Melissa :) It was a busy but good week.
DeleteOh whoa, you got plenty of Kindle Freebies again. :) Great haul! Happy reading and have a lovely Sunday. :)
ReplyDeleteI got carried away, I didn't want to spend money so the freebies fill the void :)
DeleteWhat an amazing book haul, especially those freebies! I don't seem to find a lot of them....hope you have a great week.
ReplyDeleteHere's MY WEEKLY SUNDAY/MONDAY UPDATES
Thanks for stopping by Laurel :)
DeleteLet me try this again. My last commented was all messed up, lol.
ReplyDeleteI loved Reaper's Property. But, holy kindle freebies! I clicked on some that looked really good and thankfully some of them are still free. (Cause ya know, my TBR list needs to be longer than it already is, lol) Where do you find them all?
I hope you enjoy your books and have a great week (and Game of Thrones, of course!)
Lol I love me some kindle freebies :)
DeleteI really should start to keep an eye on the Kindle freebies now that I finally got myself a kindle :)
ReplyDeleteHave a good week!
Careful - they can take over your life! ;-D
DeleteThat they do Lark, that they do.
DeleteHappy birthday to Mr. Turning the Pages! We've been having lovely weather here all week, too. (Well, Friday was overcast and I think we got a little rain Thursday night, but nothing significant.) It's such a relief to no longer be wondering about the next snow. I even put away my turtlenecks and got out the short-sleeve shirts! (The long-sleeve shirts aren't going away yet, though. I know April; she's fickle.)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy all your lovely new books! I'm debating asking for that Child of a Hidden Sea ARC myself - it looks good.
Thanks Lark and you're right April is fickle, and she has a complete and utter lack of disregard for the rest of us. If you do request Child of a Hidden Sea I'll be looking out for what you think of it.
DeleteI LOVE Taniguchi ! That is such a great pick ! Though I guess my favorite will always be The walking man, so little action, such amazement ! I hope you'll love it as much as I do, have a great week !
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up about that one Iza :)
